ABOUT

ME!

Sine Chan-Golston graduated with an MFA in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College, and she hopes to use her thesis research to cultivate more artistic opportunities and accessibility to performing arts experiences for artists in Central California.

In 2025, Sine took on the role of Company Manager for The ARTsonists, a Fresno-based company of Hmong-American theatre artists. She was awarded the Cultivart Mini Grant in July 2025 for her work in arts administration.

Sine Chan-Golston has a professional background in the performing arts, specializing primarily in classical and contemporary ballet. While obtaining her BA in Dance and Certificate in Exercise and Sports Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, she had the opportunity to perform at the World Congress of Dance in 2019 under Monique Meuiner (NYCB). Eventually, they joined PDX Contemporary Ballet and worked at Stretchlab as a certified stretch practitioner. Since retiring from ballet, she has also performed in theatre productions, including She Kills Monsters (Kaliope) and as a Guest Artist for Michigan State University in Inching Towards Yeolha (Mahn-Mahn). Sine has also taught at various dance studios and summer intensives in ballet (ABT/Ceccetti), modern (Lemon-based), and as a choreographer.
